The Sound of Tuning Forks
What is all the talk about frequency? Each month in this section I will tell you about frequency, how it is emitted by instruments, and its affects on the energy centers in our body, also known as Chakras.
Frequency is the rate at which a vibration occurs. Frequency is measured in what is called, "hertz." Science has determined that the body responds to frequency in various ways. One of the miraculous ways in which our bodies respond to frequency is in healing. The extraordinary vehicles our souls ride around in, our physical bodies, have the ability to heal itself thought the guidence of frequency through the vehicle of Sound.
Let's start with 528Hz. This frequency is said to "change your DNA" and is more commonly referred to the "love" frequency and "the miracle note". The 528 Hz frequency is the most significant of the Solfeggio Frequencies and it has a deep-rooted relationship with nature. It is present in everything from Chlorophyll to human DNA. It also has mathematical significance and proven healing potential.
Its vibrations connect and resonate with everything within us and around us, on both a material and spiritual level. The Latin meanings of the ancient “Mi” (do re "mi") tone, 528 Hz, is described as:
"an extraordinary occurrence that surpasses all known human powers or natural forces and is ascribed to a divine or supernatural cause, esp. to God; a superb or surpassing example of something; wonder, marvel."
Perhaps that’s why the priests and healers of the most advanced civilizations of the ancient world were known to use 528Hz to heal, bless, and manifest miracles. In the clip below, I have taken one of my tuning forks, tuned to 528Hz out into nature to meld with the sounds of nature around me. I use tuning forks in my practice in both Reiki and sound therapy.
